We believe in building better futures from the ground up.
Our mission is simple yet transformative—to bring accessible water, healthy futures, and enriched lives to elementary schools in Africa. By providing sustainable access to safe drinking water, we empower children to learn, grow, and thrive without the daily struggle of water scarcity. Every well we build and every drop we deliver fuels education, strengthens communities, and creates a ripple effect of opportunity for generations to come. Because water isn’t just a necessity—it’s the foundation of a brighter future.
Since 2018, we have been dedicated to improving water accessibility in primary schools across Morogoro, Tanzania. Through our efforts, we have successfully installed water tanks in 26 schools, ensuring a consistent and sustainable water supply for students and faculty. This initiative has directly impacted over 30,000 individuals, providing them with the resources they need to focus on education, personal growth, and community development. By reducing the daily challenges associated with water scarcity, we are helping to create healthier learning environments and brighter futures for the next generation.
When you donate to Ground-Up Foundation, you’re making a direct and lasting impact. Every dollar you give goes entirely toward installing and maintaining water tanks in schools and orphanages across Tanzania, ensuring that children and educators have reliable access to safe water. Your generosity helps create healthier learning environments, reduces the burden of water scarcity, and empowers communities to thrive.
Want to do more? Join us on the ground! Whether you’re passionate about fundraising, hands-on projects, or spreading awareness, we welcome volunteers to be part of this life-changing mission. Send us an email to learn how you can get involved and make a difference—because together, we can build a future where every child has access to the water they need to grow and succeed.
“There are those who enter the world in such poverty that they are deprived of both the means and the motivation to improve their lot. Unless they can be touched with the spark which ignites the spirit of individual enterprise and determination, they will only sink into apathy, degradation, and despair. It is for us, who are more fortunate, to provide that spark”
